C O R E C A P A B I L T I E STekgard has achieved a great level of expertise in the heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning industry, and focuses on delivering six core capabilities to our military:

Manufacturing Environmental Control Units (ECUs)We design, engineer, and manufacture a family of ECUs that can provide heating and cooling solutions for any military platform or application. With over 12,000 units deployed worldwide, our MIL-SPEC ECUs are customized to offer a wide variety of heating and cooling options to meet any requirement. To accommodate the unique environments our military operates in, our ECUs are rated to perform at any desired ambient condition and are provided in unitary, vertical, horizontal, and split configurations. Our systems' cooling capacities range from 2-20 Tons (24,000-240,000 BTU/hr) and heating capacities range from 4-25 kW (13,657-85,000 BTU/hr). In addition, we have provided liquid cooling systems with capacities ranging from 8-24 kW (27,300-81,900 BTU/hr). Our ECU systems have gone through rigorous qualification testing to ensure full compliance of military standards and specifications. Some of the qualifications our ECUs have achieved include: MIL-STD-810 (Environmental Conditions Testing), MIL-STD-461 (Electromagnetic Interference & Compatibility Testing), MIL-STD-188-125 (High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse Testing), and MIL-STD-1472D/G (Human Engineering Design).

Manufacturing Accessories & Support EquipmentTekgard also manufactures accessories and support equipment for our ECUs. Products include items such as remote interfaces, adapters, plenums, and ducts.

Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) ServiceTekgard provides engineering services dedicated to one-time cost efforts for research, development, design, and testing of new heating and cooling technologies. We have state-of-the-art test equipment and a prototype chamber compliant with the ASHRAE 37 indoor air enthalpy method of cooling capacity measurement at our facility to assist in new system validation.

Field Service, Training, and Technical WritingTekgard offers onsite technician service support on all our equipment, wherever our customers need us. Typical field service work includes: warranty servicing, functionality testing, familiarization training, and non-warranty support. In addition, we provide system familiarization and certification training at our facilities for large groups of personnel and have hosted many successful training events for our domestic and foreign partners. We also provide technical writing services, including ECU and System-Level Operation and Maintenance Manuals.

Repair of Repairable (ROR)/Depot ServiceWe provide ROR and depot-level servicing to restore all types of ECUs and equipment back to working conditions and original specifications, regardless of original manufacturer. This helps our customers to keep their expenses down.

Spare Parts SupplyWhen specific parts are needed, Tekgard assists our customers in finding the perfect solution. We supply a variety of spare parts to maximize the operational lives of our customers' heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.

P R O D U C T STekgard environmental control solutions are easy to operate, transport, and customize; every unit is tailor-made to the specifications of our customers, ensuring a perfect fit for the mission at hand. Environmental Control Units (ECUs)The cornerstone of the Tekgard lineup, our ECUs have a legacy of reliable performance. Available in Horizontal, Unitary, and Vertical configurations, each ECU is crafted to the exact specifications of our customer, delivering a wide range of heating and cooling capacities. Our engineers work directly with the customer to find the best solution to their environmental control needs. Every unit is then carefully assembled and tested before deployment.

Liquid Coolers and ChillersTekgard liquid coolers and chillers have supplied thermal management solutions to high-intensity jobs, such as missile defense and radar systems. This experience has cemented our status as an expert in the category. No matter the workload or environmental conditions, our liquid coolers and chillers are reliable performers when it matters most.

GeneratorsWith any environmental control system, there will be a need for power. Available in 22 kW and 35 kW capacities, Tekgard generators provide the power necessary to support these thermal management solutions, as well as the missions that call for them.

Trailer SystemsAt Tekgard, we understand that the mission of our warfighters is constantly evolving. As such, their environmental control systems need to be just as versatile and mobile as their operations. Our towable trailer systems are the perfect solution. Each trailer is fitted with varying combinations of ECUs and Generators, in addition to storage space for shelters and supplies. The unrivaled mobility and convenience of these systems keep our Nation's missions on the move.

P A S T P E R F O R M A N C EAt Tekgard, we are proud to have served the heating and cooling needs of the military for many years, and we look forward to continuing this service into the future. We have provided ECUs and engineering support for many of the prominent, ongoing military platforms. Our heating and cooling solutions were crucial to the success of various hard/soft shelter systems, trailer systems, wheeled vehicle systems, UAV ground stations, radar systems, and missile systems. The following are just a few of the programs which we have had the honor to participate in over the years:

The Distributed Common Ground System - Army (DCGS-A) ProgramA military program of fixed and deployable multi-source ground processing systems that support a range of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems to satellites, U2, F-16s, and UAV systems. Tekgard ECUs played a crucial part in providing the necessary heating and cooling conditions for DCGS-A to operate successfully.

U.S. Army's Standard Integrated Command Post System (SICPS) ProgramTekgard provided thousands of 5 and 12 Ton ECUs to support the DHS (DRASH) Trailer Mounted Support System (TMSS) in conjunction with Northrop Grumman's Command Post Platform (CPP), which provided the Army with high-mobility tactical operation centers that could be rapidly deployed for command, control, and communications on the battlefield.

Patriot Air and Missile Defense System ProgramTekgard developed thermal management solutions to assist the Patriot system with carrying out its mission of detecting and defeating various threats. Our equipment proved to be reliable in some of the most hostile environments in the world, keeping the Patriot system operational and protecting our warfighters.

Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) ProgramAn Army defense system that was able to shoot down short, medium, and intermediate ballistic missiles during the terminal phase, using a hit-to-kill approach. Our ECUs provided the necessary cooling capacity that allowed the THAAD system to carry out its important missions.

AN/TPS-77 Long-Range Radar System ProgramA Lockheed Martin multi-mission ground-based radar system that provides complete air surveillance to military applications for more than 30 nations on six continents. Our environmental control systems and technical support have ensured the operational sustainment of this important radar program.

Land-Based Phalanx Weapon SystemIn support of the U.S. Army's Counter-Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar systems, Tekgard provided liquid chillers to the control stations. Our thermal management solutions help these systems to detect and destroy incoming threats and provide early warnings of attacks.
