LOWER TENSIONADJUSTMENT

If your machine skips stitchesor loops stitches, it mayrequire a tension adjustment.To check bobbin thread tension, follow these steps:

D Push latches of the shuttlerace cover to the outside,as shown in figure D.

J Suspend bobbin, bobbincase, and shuttle alltogether by thread asillustrated in figure .When jerking the threadslightly, all of them shouldslide down with light resistance. If they do not slidedown with a slight jerk ofthe thread, the bobbincase tension is too tight. Ifthey slide down too easily,the bobbin case tension istoo loose. See followingpage for adjustment ot thebobbin case. Once thebobbin case is correcilyadjusted, it is easy to usethe upper tension to balance the stitches asshown on page 12.x Shuttley Bobbin ascrew using
