Our trained Fitters candismantle and reassemble all types of static and mobile racking systems included the relaying of the floor rails, we also have joiners that can dismantle systems furniture and fitted storage systems.

CRATE HIREPredelivery of Packing Crates for your staff to pack in readiness for the move or we can offer a packing and unpacking service for you.

The W1 Crate (597 x 374 x 330mm)

This is the most popular crate for business relocations. It has a unique integral lid design to facilitate ease of stacking and to prevent accidental spillage/leakage.

This crate is to be used for packing a personal desk contents, stationery and all small objects etc.

The W6 Crate (1000 x 370 x 332mm)

This is the larger crate which is a metre in length. This crate is used for packing libraries, box files, archival filing etc. which needs to be kept in order.

The IT2 Crate (584 x 546 x 447mm)

This crate has a integral lid and is designed to hold your personal computers, printers and networking equipment etc. They are ideal to ensure that each computer is moved as a whole unit and will protect the sensitive items during transit

Our Crates & LabelsWe have three different size crates to make your move as easy as possible. Each crate has been selected to hold a variety of

office equipment.

Coloured labels

We have 15 assorted colours available and can include labels for disposal and store. Our labelling system employs a simple combination of colours and numbers, this coupled with your detailed floor plan will ensure that everything is placed exactly where it will be needed. This obviously makes getting back to normal quicker and simpler, reducing ‘down-time’ to a minimum. Each floor of the new building is allocated it’s own colour and every area or room is given a number. A label of the appropriate colour/number combination is then attached to each item to be moved. These rooms and item numbers tie into your prepared floor plan, so; along with the colour code, the labels give a precise destination for every single object or crate that we have moved. At the new building, every floor is allocated a colour- and a colour key posted at every entrance.

The main aim of my job is to make sure your relocation is completley stress free. I enjoy speaking with clients to answer and resolve any queries they may have.

I find new opportunities and ways to develop and expand the business. I’m usually the first point of contact a new client has whith Whittles - I love how one phone call can turn into a lasting relationship.

I ensure that everyone involved within your relocation is safe at all times. Relocations can be a hazardous task but with careful planning and preparation they can be completely safe and hassle free.

I support Bob by helping him with the day to day tasks that are needed to run the Business Relocation Division. My roles are varied but are always customer focused.

By over-seeing all of the IT needs that your business relocation may have I can get your operation back on its feet with minimum downtime. I can organise the set-up of your existing infrastructure or advise on how to utilise a new network.

The actual move is only a small part of the whole operation. Well in advance of your moving date our move management team will sit down with key members of your staff to go over every aspect of the relocation. No detail is overlooked. From access route and room layouts, to colour coded packing labels. Everything is thought through. We’ll make sure everybody involved – on your side and ours – knows exactly what will happen and what is expected of them.

When the big day arrives, an experienced Whittle’s move supervisor will be on hand to oversee the entire operation. Normally, only two of your staff will be needed – one at your present building and one at your new – along with communication at each location. We can make sure it’s business as usual for everyone else.

Our expert packing team can wrap, pack and unpack every item according to the plans drawn up by the space planning team. So when your people arrive at the new location they can find everything in its rightful place – from archived files right down to the pens in the stationery cupboard.
