Who are we?

We are a group of college Graduate Who are trying to make a different.

After visiting the Republic Dominican we saw how our fellow Haitian children are living, so we decided to take actions.

So we form the International Advancement for Kids

IAK

We are a non-profit organization and our main purpose right now is to provide for the Haitian children that reside in the Batey in the Republic Dominican a daily meal as well as a fair education.

The main reason we focus on the Republic Dominican all the Haitian Kids that was or that are born on the RD have no Birth Certificate and no education and no food to eat. The Republic Dominican Government doesn’t recognize them as citizen. Thus, they refuse them all the necessary privilege; Such as education, a descent meal and health care.

What Do We Do?We’re Putting over 60 to 100 Haitian kids living in Republic Dominican to school.Feed them: we’re doing our best to give them a daily meal.We’ll Try to communicate with the Republic Dominican official and find a way to get those kids a birth certificate.The picture to the right shows the school that opened September 9, 2008 at a local church. The children were very excited to attain school for the first time in their lives.

Those are the pictures of some studentsNow those kids have a purpose in life which is have an education and get some food everyday. We have over 300 other children in waiting lists.We can’t put all of them to school right now. We need your support!

Before we opened the school all the kids did were sitting somewhere or play soccer or just hang out in the sugar canes field

Their future depends on us, if don’t shape that future for them, they won’t have one
