Michael Joseph Jackson was born in 1958 in Gary,

Indiana.

He was a very famous American singer and dancer

nicknamed the King of Pop.

He started singing at the age of five, singing with

his brothers in the band called the Jackson 5.

At only 13 years old, he began a solo career.

In 1985 he participated in a charity project called

“We are the World” to raise money to help Africa.
