In 2015 the group enjoyed a strong year, with growing sales and profits. Activity grew principally in its growth countries, with Poland, Russia and Turkey being especially strong. The group continued to focus on its core market sectors: automotive, aerospace, metals, packaging and building products.
In the year ended 31 December 2015, the
group achieved turnover of £73.1 million
(2014: £68.6 million) and generated an
operating profit of £5.3 million (2014: £4.9
million) after amortisation of goodwill
of £0.6 million (2014: £0.6 million) and
exceptional items of £0.1 million (2014: £0.1
million).
The group’s subsidiaries recorded strong
revenue growth in their local markets, most
notably Poland (up 67%) and Turkey (up
86%). 2015 also saw the introduction of two,
new, Beck & Pollitzer locations: Chennai,
India and Ulyanovsk, Russia.
Our operating platform was further
strengthened by investment in Project
Management and Health & Safety training
processes.
Consolidated profit and loss account
In the year ended 31 December 2015, the group achieved turnover of £73.1 million (2014: £68.6 million) and generated an operating profit (after amoritisation of goodwill and exceptional items) of £5.3 million (2014: £4.9 million).
Net debt reduced by £1.1 million following a net cash inflow from operating activities of £4.4 million (2014: £2.9m).
The group saw its turnover increase by 6.6% to £73.1 million.
Turnover growth was particularly strong in overseas markets (turnover £49.9m, +37% growth).
Activity grew by 42% in the Group’s European countires and by 29% in its Emerging Markets

Closing order book
There were considerable adverse exchange rate movements in several of the key currencies in which the group’s trading activities occur, in particular the Euro, Polish Zloty and Russian Rouble.
If restated at constant 2014 exchange rates, the group’s turnover in 2015 would have risen by 20.8% to £82.8 million and operating profits (before amortisation of goodwill and exceptional items) by 27.0% to £7.2 million.
Order intake in the year has seen continuing improvements compared to 2014 both in the UK (up 28%) and overseas (up 4%) despite the effects of the negative
currency fluctuations on those numbers. As a result, the group has started 2016 with a strong order book some 15% higher than at the same time the previous year.

The directors expect the general level of activity to increase in the coming year.
Strong market conditions support a positive development of group sales over future years, with plans in place to continue geographic organic growth through investment in new operations in Spain and the US.
The Group will continue its efforts to focus upon its core market sectors, providing premium quality services to its global blue chip customers.
