TestingEach cooler is filled with transformer oil at ambient air temperature and pressurized to 500 kPA (72.5 psi). Duration of pressure test is 1 hour standard, with an option for 3 hours as per EN 50216-10:2009.
Please contact your sales representative if you require the additional testing op-tion of vacuum testing to 65 Pa for 10 minutes as per JB/T 8315-2007
CleanlinessThe internal surfaces of each cooler are flushed using transformer oil and verified to be in compliance with ISO 4406:1999, cleanliness code 12/10/7.
PackagingFor domestic ground shipments, all coolers are purged of internal air and pressu-rized with nitrogen to a gauge pressure of 34 to 68 kPa (5 to 10 psi), in excess of EN 50216-10:2009 and JB/T 8315-2007 requirements. Coolers are bolted to a wooden pallet and covered with a clear plastic tarp.
For ocean transport, all coolers are purged of internal air and pressurized with nitrogen to a gauge pressure of 34 to 68 kPa (5 to 10 psi), in excess of EN 50216-10:2009 and JB/T 8315-2007 requirements. Coolers are wrapped with desiccant pads within a clear plastic wrap, and enclosed in a full wooden crate.
