The annual Lynnwood High School food drive will be taking place the entire month of November. All proceeds will benefit the Lynnwood Food Bank. We are accept-ing nonperishable food items (including diapers) and cash donations, and collect-ing during advisory time.

This is also a friendly competition among advisories AND schools. The Pursuit of the Power Plunger--or PPP--is a tradition we share with Mountlake Terrace High School. The school that raises the most cans and wins the plunger races takes home the trophy for the year! Combined, last year the schools raised over 40,000 "cans" for our local food banks.

We will honor our nation's veterans on Thursday November 7th with an assembly. Our guest speaker is Senior Chief Nunez of the US Navy.

Macho Volleyball is November 12th in the main gym at 6:00 pm! Our annual men's tournament is always a fun time! Entry is $3.00 or 5 cans of food. All food will go towards our food drive and benefit the Lynnwood Food Bank

The PPP Spirit Week will be December 2-6. The PPP assembly--featuring plunger races--is Friday December 6th.

Senior parents can purchase Senior Recognition Ads through the link on the LHS website. Space is limited so it is first-come-first-served. The deadline for these is in late January
