Offshore, no significant changes with the following exploration wells all continuing on from last week: BHP Billiton-operated Homevale-1 in WA-475-P, Apache’s Bianchi-1 in WA-290-P and Taunton-5/-5H in TP-7/TL-2, Proteus-1 in WA-398-P for ConocoPhillips, Shell’s Palta-1 (WA-384-P), Total’s Bassett West-1 (WA-408-P) and Santos’s Winchester-1 (WA-323-P). In development operations, Apache’s Balnaves project remains in progress, as does ExxonMobil’s Jansz, BHP’s Pyrenees and Chevron’s Gorgon. In the PNG, Oil Search’s Hagana-1 in PPL-244 is due to be spudded by Stena Clyde any day. Onshore, Santos spudded next ATP-752-P oil appraisal well Cuisinier-9, its nearfield exploration well Chivito-1 in PEL-114 was completed with the rig moved to Hoff-1 in the same permit, and shale gas test Van Der Waals-1 in PPL-113 continued. Beach’s ATP-855-P shale gas exploration program kicked off with Hervey-1, with Keppel-1 to follow using a different rig. Ensign Rig-948 completed two Callawonga field development wells in PEL-92 for Beach & started development well Bauer-10 in PEL-91, while En-sign Rig-930 spudded Congony-1 exploration well in PEL-91. Drillsearch’s Moruya-1 in PEL-106A con-tinued, as did Armour Energy’s Egilabria-2 in Carpentaria Basin ATP-1087-P. In New Zealand, Tag’s Sidewinder A-8 exploration well spudded this week, while Todd’s Mangahewa development program in PML-38150 continued. In the PNG, Oil Search’s Mananda-6 appraisal in PPL-219 continued. In CSG, Santos’ Moonamurra-4 appraisal well in ATP-868-P was spudded.
