Cafe Mio

Five years ago this September Michael Barnardo opened Cafe Mio in Gardiner. e surrounding bounty of local farms in the Hudson Valley inspired Michael to open his own place where he could create his own recipes. Using local low calorie ingredients with his own creativity has enabled Michael to come up with amazing dishes that have customers becoming “regulars,” returning again and again. A talented and passionate sta , that truly cares about their customers, has enabled a special interaction that builds great customer relationships. Michael said one of his favorite things about his business has been dealing with local farms. Having a direct relationship with local suppliers and wineries isn’t something every restaurateur gets to experience. Building warm relationships with suppliers, sta and customers, combined with an open kitchen makes Cafe Mio a very special place indeed.
