OUR ASSOCIATES - PRE SCREENED - KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EXPERIENCED Commercial Works, Inc. truly believes that our experience, size and extensive base of long term associates gives us unparalleled resources - of our current workforce, 74 employees have been with us for more than five years, and 36 have been with us for over 10 years! All Commercial Works employees are already prescreened using OPENONLINE for MVRs and for criminal checks and are required to participate in the Drug Free workplace program. Commercial Works, Inc. company policy mandates that all movers, installers, drivers, supervisors, warehouse staff and operations managers to be in uniform at all times when on the job site. The uniform attire consists of a blue polo shirt with company logo and blue work pants. Our installers are required to wear the same polo shirt and khaki pants. Only company logo hats may be worn. We are currently in contract with Cintas as a uniform provider. We fully understand the importance of a professional and identifiable presence of our employees. We are committed to fully comply with all requirements for uniforms of our personnel.

All personnel also wear vendor identification badges if required, and will sign in upon arrival at any jobsite if requested. We will also have all personnel read, understand and sign off on any contractor orientation and procedures manuals. In addition, all supervisors and project managers are equipped with cellular telephones for instant communication.

GOING GREEN – COMMERCIAL WORKS MOVING CRATES Commercial Works highly recommends the utilization of plastic move crates for economical savings as well as end user convenience. By utilizing our moving crates, Commercial Works has reduced our usage of cardboard boxes by over 50% in the last 5 years. CWI also actively participates in the recycling of any material (scrap metal, iron, pc’s, etc.) in an ongoing effort to reduce and re-use wherever possible. COMPUTERS AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT Commercial Works was one of the first local vendors to develop specific crews to provide “disconnect and re-connect services” for PC’s, faxes, printers and related peripherals. We categorize these crews as “Cable Team Members” They receive specific training on the intricacies required to perform these services. We DO NOT transport computers and electronic equipment in speed packs or cardboard bins. All items are properly placed on specially designed computer carts and protected for transportation. All electronic equipment for storage is boxed or containerized for protections and security reasons.

FILING SYSTEMS / X RAY CHARTS All HIPPA related requirements will be adhered to in the relocation of sensitive files and charts including the use of special HIPPA approved carts. All filing system relocations are managed on the specific requirements of that specific task itself as well and the manufacturer guidelines for the movement of the file system itself. Commercial Works, Inc. works closely with local organizations in receiving, inspecting, delivery and assisting in the installation of numerous filing systems. In addition, Commercial Works has handled the relocation of over 2 Million Linear feet in secure files for Bank One Corp. in the last 3 years alone. Special carts are utilized to transport all files. Lockable and Secure plastic crates are utilized when necessary for secure or Hippa related files

FURNITURE AND MODULAR WORKSTATIONS All manufacturer requirements will be adhered to. Commercial Works, Inc. has vast and verifiable experience in handling all major brands of modular furniture including but not limited to Herman Miller, Steelcase, Haworth, Knoll, Technion, Tayco, Hon and many other global brands. All parts and pieces for each tear down are kept together through the use of plastic crates and identifiable plastic bags to insure proper rebuild. Build prints should be required for all new or re-builds.

POINT OF DESTINATION PLANNING CWI uses a tagging and plaque system for organizing moves. We also supply workbooks free of cost to all end users on how to tag and pack all items in a relocation process The project manager is responsible for all tagging, plaque and planning activates on all larger relocations. Destination blue prints are marked and distributed accordingly for all crewmembers to follow placement instructions.

DAMAGE PROTECTION Commercial Works, Inc. understands the importance of taking the necessary time and planning to institute the proper precautions for protecting you valuable assets and facilities. Commercial Works utilizes industry standard protection materials including masonite for flooring, koroflex and cardboard for walls, pads and cardboard for elevators as well as pads and paper for furniture.

CLEANLINESS Being the largest office mover in the region we have a substantial investment in the equipment that we utilize to perform relocations. Our operational department conducts regular (weekly) and scheduled reviews of our equipment inventory to insure cleanliness and to provide the proper cleaning services as needed. A formal process exists for all operational crew leaders to report any malfunctioning equipment or identify all equipment in need of repair or cleaning.
