Why offer a tree and shrub program?
A lot of lawn care companies misunderstand the tree and shrub market. However, tree and shrub applications are in reality, very
simple. By utilizing a bionutritional product, a dash of nitrogen and a pinch of fungicides, you can provide a balanced program for your
current customers.
So, why include a tree and shrub program in your plant health arsenal?
1. Increase revenue per customer
You’ve already delivered on your promise and your customers are enjoying green, healthy lawns--so why wouldn’t you do the same
thing for their trees and shrubs?
At the end of the day, the lawn may be the doormat to the house, but the trees and shrubs are the curtains. Your customers care
deeply for their landscape, otherwise they wouldn’t be signed up for lawn care applications.
Therefore, including a tree and shrub application is the perfect service for your customers and the perfect opportunity to increase
your revenue per customer.
In general, we’ve seen 10% - 30% of customers sign up for tree and shrub applications. That’s like new found money!
2. Control it or lose it
If you think your number one job is to make your customers’ lawns look fantastic, guess again. You’re their environmental steward and if you aren’t caring for your trees and shrubs, then someone else
will.
Why not take charge of the trees and shrubs yourself rather than risking the opportunity that your customer loses a tree to disease or
some other factor? Keep the fox out of the hen house and your competitors out of your yard!
3. It’s better for the plant
A probiotic, bionutritioal product like Holganix acts as an “insurance policy”, taking a preventative approach to caring for trees and shrubs. If your customers let their trees and shrubs go, then ultimately their curb appeal could weaken and either devalue their homes, or cost a
lot of money to replace.
