Let’s March for JusticeThousands of people depend on the LA County

hundreds more to follow unless the Legislature redirects funding to help California’s busiest courts.

Now’s the Time: March for Justice

Why Is Your Court Closed? Who is responsible? The State Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), is responsible for allocating funding to Superior Courts in California.

For years the AOC has siphoned off nearly $2 billion for an ill advised computer sys-tem.

Now they are closing the courts to pay for their pet project.

Our solution:We all depend on the courts to enforce child support, restraining orders and pro-tect our constitutional rights.

We can make the AOC return the compu-ter money to its original purpose, keeping the courts open for all.

Please support our efforts to keep California courts open.

Call your State Legislator and say closing the courts to pay for a computer is not right.

Will you support budget accountability at the AOC by calling the Senators listed below?Senator Alex Padilla (D-Pacoima).................... 916-651-4020Senator Carol Liu (D-Pasadena)....................... 916-651-4021Senator Gil Cedillo (D-Los Angeles)............... 916-651-4022Senator Fran Pavley (D-Santa Monica)............ 916-651-4023Senator Gloria Romero (D-Los Angeles)......... 916-651-4024Senator Roderick Wright (D-Los Angeles)...... 916-651-4025Senator Curren Price (D-Los Angeles)............. 916-651-4026Senator Alan Lowenthal (D-Long Beach)........ 916-651-4027Senator Jenny Oropeza (D-Long Beach).......... 916-651-4028Senator Ronald Calderon (D-Montebello)....... 916-651-4030Senator Gloria Negrete McLeod (D-Chino)..... 916-651-4032Senator Lou Correa (D-Santa Ana).................. 916-651-4034

Los Angeles County courts are closed every third Wednesday starting July 15. That hurts businesses and taxpayers who can’t afford to take time off during the economic crisis.
