even when he is old he will not depart from it” Proverbs 22:6
In today’s society people have been affected by many economic problems. Most people have good intentions but only a small minority really know the right way to manage their finances.
How are we going to teach our kids about finances? We are not able to do this in our own strength. We need God to teach us. “17 This is what the
LORD says your Redeemer, the Holy
One of Israel: I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who
directs you in the way you should go
(Isaiah).”
Methods of Teaching1. Communication

35 In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work
we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord
Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
(Acts).
CONCLUSION
By encouraging our children to develop their financial skills we are helping them to become economically literate, self confident and successful (Sandberg).
At the same time we are strengthening our relationships with them, but most importantly we are giving them the opportunity to see God as their father and showing them that if they please God in everything they do, they will prosper in all their ways.
