WHY SWEET SHORGUM….? ? :The evidence suggests that Sweet sorghum : A high productivity of several component (Grains, Stalks, Leaves, Roots), Multiple harvests per year in better climates, Time more efficient than sugar cane, sugar beet and corn , Drought tolerant, It has shorter growing cycle than sugar cane, sugar beet and corn, Efficiently converted to Ethanol, Soft and friendly, requires less energy to crush, The are of The 2nd Generation namely : Sweet Sorghum, Sugarcane, Tuber Crops

FEED and OIL, NOT 1st Generation namely: Grain, Wheat, Corn, Barley (kind of Grain), Wheat Black, Cassava, Potato and Rice FOOD for OIL,

Leaves excellent as animal feed and effluent usable as liquid fertilizer, Use as bio-fuels has no effect on food supplies, According to the FAO programs : Feed and Fuels, Bio-energy and Food Security, Bio-

energy and Energy Security, Bio-energy and Rural Development, Bio-energy and Climate Change, Bio-energy and the Environment, Good farming and harvesting practices for feedstock production.

Can be grown throughout the Indonesia,
