Why are we not more active?
Our society & culture have changed. The opportunity to move our bodies in our normal daily activities has decreased over the years.

Handle stress better.

Housework is a great way to move; make it more fun by adding music.
Work in the garden, or mow the grass using a push-mower.
Dance around the house for fun.
Go out for a short walk before breakfast or after dinner, or both.
