The Mission

While traveling the country in a Wienerschnitzel-wrapped RV, the tour

will hit 18 U.S. cities throughout April 2015, visiting shelters and

communities with heavy homeless populations. The crew will serve

Wienerschnitzel hot dogs and provide socks, hats, warm clothes,

hygiene kits, and other necessities to those who need it most.

Wienerschnitzel The World’s Largest Hot Dog Chain

When our fans are craving a Chili Dog, they think Wienerschnitzel! Founded in 1961 by

John Galardi with a single location in Southern California, Wienerschnitzel has grown to be

the world’s largest hot dog chain serving more than 120 million hot dogs a year; and we’re

über famous for our delicious secret-recipe chili that we like to smother on fries, hot dogs

and burgers. Plus, you can’t forget about our Tastee Freez soft serve treats to round out an

epic meal.

Nobody should have to live without Wienerschnitzel, so you’re going to be seeing a lot more

of us popping up all over the country. But, we’re more than the best chili dogs and corn dogs

in the world. We have a responsibility to the people and the communities who have

supported us for the past 50+ years, and we’re passionate about sharing our successes to help

make a difference in the world.

We’re a family-owned company and we’re going to keep it that way. We know that

Wienerschnitzel holds a special place in the hearts of our fans, many who’ve grown up with

us, and we’re committed to serving up craveable food at a great value for many generations

to come.

About Mike Smith

Most professional speakers talk about what they’ve done or what they’ve been through -

Mike Smith talks about what he’s doing NOW. Mike Smith is a motivational speaker and

action sports personality who has worked with youth for more than a decade. In the last

three years alone, Mike has spoken at over 400 schools, state conferences, and universities,

reaching an estimated 1,000,000 students across North America and Canada. Through his

speaking, Mike has made it his mission to inspire young people to create positive change

both in and outside of their schools by encouraging them to be mindful of the legacy they

can leave behind.

Mike also serves as the Founder of globally recognized

non-profit Skate For Change (SFC), an organization

that empowers young skateboarders to help the

homeless in their communities. SFC chapters have

now spread to major cities across the U.S. and

countries worldwide.

Whether it’s motivating students to pursue greatness;

teaching them how to start and maintain charitable

organizations; or giving back to the less fortunate;

Mike is committed to inspiring others to be

extraordinary.

In addition to providing much-needed support to the homeless, the tour

will stop at high schools along the way to assist with Mike Smith’s

motivational speaking engagements. The Hot Dogs for the Homeless crew

will participate on panels to communicate the importance of higher

education as well as supporting worthy causes and making a difference in

their own communities.
