The plant tincture of the lobelia plant is used for arthritis, asthma, bronchitis, hay fever, colds, cough, earinfections, epilepsy, fever, food poisoning, lockjaw, nervousness, pain, pneumonia, preventing miscarriage,whooping cough, and worms.
