Mrs. Dominguez' advanced Spanish classes and PHS Spanish Club went to the Ennio Emmanuel concert at Bullard ISD on November 5th, as part of the Spanish Department’s unending effort to expose the students to this magnificent language and culture. The students enjoyed inspiring music, a positive message, took part in dancing, singing, great food, and even played percussion instruments with the accomplished humanitarian singer. This was an effort to keep uplifting students by exposing them to an international star such as Ennio who is down to Earth and is a living example of service to our world community.

Our pumpkin themed unit was a great fall activity which incorporated language arts, math, social studies, science and art. Students learned about pumpkins and their life cycle and concluded the unit with carving their pumpkins. We weighed, measured, rolled, painted, and decorated our pumpkins, besides many other

fun activities. Now we know everything there is to know about PUMPKINS!

Exciting things are happening during TACE @ Southside! Brick Lab & Yoga with Mrs. Anderson Jazabel cooking

The Jr Scientist group connected Halloween and science during their enrichment. They had to use their senses to determine what part of the human body the food represented while being blind folded.

We celebrated 50 students who have attended

TACE 30 or more days. They were rather excited

about their accomplishment.
