INTRODUCTION

Following the practice of the Bureau of Biological Survey, the

Fish and Wildlife Service issues this, the forty-first edition of the

directory of organizations and officials concerned with wildlife pro-

tection. It is designed to meet the needs of officials charged with

the administration and enforcement of fish and game laws, and is

also for the convenient use of persons desiring to communicate with

officials and organizations concerning wdldlife conditions in the several

States and Territories, the Canadian Provinces and Territories,

New^foundland, Mexico, the West Indies, Central America, andSouth America. Including chiefly the organizations that are national

or State-wide in character, the directory follows the general form of

previous editions.^

Details regarding the seasons for migratory game bird hunting and

restrictions thereon may be obtained from the Fish and Wildlife

nicate with the appropriate State officials for information as to State

laws or regulations. The fish and game laws of the several States

and Canadian Provinces may be obtained on request to the proper
