s t h e o w n e r a n d director of our agency

it is my job to create the focus and the vision of our company. Every talent that I scout and represent are chosen because of their potential in t h e s o u t h e a s t , n a t i o n a l o r international markets. Many ask what I am looking for when I accept a talent into our agency? What is the it factor? I say there is no formula. You just know it when you see it. That is what experts in the industry call having the eye. To catch the eye of a client or an agency you have to be a unique product. We are all

created with very different characteristics, voices and personalities. Don't try to be like someone else. Embrace who you are and work on developing what is special about you. Your agency can only show your picture and resume to prospective clients.

It is up to you to sharpen your skills and land the job. Our agency has the most success stories of any other agency in the southeast. We have famous and working actors and models all over the world. Everyone that walks through my door has the exact same opportunity. What you do with that opportunity is up to you.

s t h e N e w F a c e s Director it is my job to m a k e s u r e t h a t everyone has the proper market ing

materials and is in the system so they can be marketed correctly. I have worked very hard on developing an easy system to help make i t happen. A n y t i m e y o u a r e needing to update your pictures please email me to get the list of approved photographers. Not all photographers understand this business and what is needed as far as marketing materials go. I have some wonderful photographers on my list. Each photographer has their own great portfolio and also work with clients that can book our talent. After you shoot, all pictures must be cleared through me before you use them on one of the online systems or on marketing materials. I will also assist you with ordering prints and getting your resume completed.

We need for everyone to remain current in our online marketing system. This is the 800casting system. This is the main way you are introduced to clients in the NC market. Clients are able to see your pictures and your resume. This is now your first audition. That means that your picture and resume are very important. If you do not have a strong resume cl ients are probably overlooking you. Make sure you stay current in classes a n d c o n t i n u e t o develop. Some great classes that we refer people to are; www.actingoutstudio.com, w w w. fi l m a c t o r s s t u d i o . n e t , www.settingthestagecharlotte.com. Also CPCC has a great "On Camera" curriculum. And don't forget about the great kids and teens classes that Brittany offers here!  We are now using another online casting system that will enable us to market our talent to other markets instead of just NC. This system is called Actors

Access. It is very similar to 800casting. I have included the instructions for registering on this system below. Through this system Brittany (Booking Agent) can submit you for jobs in New York, Los Angeles, Florida, Louisiana, and more. You will also receive casting alerts through email for things that you can

submit yourself on. Make sure you are willing to travel to the audition if you submit yourself. If you do submit yourself and are asked to audition

for jobs through this system please inform Brittany of the specifics. Go to www.actorsaccess.com. Click on REGISTER NOW FOR FREE. Fill out ALL information fields and create new account. Input personal stats, DOB, age range, special skills, add resume item by item and upload up to 2 photos. You then email Actors Access to have them connect you to Wilhelmina Evolution.
