Visiont is currently seeking experienced IT Support Specialists to join our team and work on-site at one of our local clients in the Des Moines metro area. Visiont is an IT consulting firm managed by previous IT consultants. Our team has deep experience with IT staffing. Our clients understand this and rely on our expertise.

Primary role and responsibilities of the IT Support Specialist:

Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years applied proprietary software support experience and training over the phone. Candidates must have strong services aptitude, technical troubleshooting aptitude and interpersonal relation skills to get to, and understand, the root cause of a caller’s question or issue.

Required:

2+ years of phone support experience with 2 years applied proprietary software support and training over the phone.

Candidates must have strong services aptitude, troubleshooting aptitude and interpersonal relation skills to get to, and understand, the root cause of a caller’s question or issue.

Beneficial:

Experience living or working in an agriculture environment, either on a farm, or in a support role Understanding of precision ag solutions Experience with mobile devices (iOS and Android) Computer IT skills and ability to learn new software quickly Understanding of data flow and database interactions Experience teaching or training customers or co-workers
