Fairy House BuildingCome join artist and outdoor enthusiast Susan Lepple for a morning of creative and whimsical house build-ing with naturally found objects. Use items such as sticks, leaves, barks, mosses, stones, shells, grasses, dried flowers and feathers to build these magical, min-iature homes. At the end of class, have a work of art to take home. Youth Lacrosse Leagues- Grades 3rd-8th

Youth Lacrosse registration is now open. There is a strict deadline of March 9, as teams need to be formed and registered in the league. These are competitive leagues, which travel, for boys and girls in grades 3rd/4th, 5th/6th & 7th/8th. Separate leagues are of-fered to boys and girls. A minimum number and coach is needed to have a team. Indoor practices begin the week of March 19, and are one day a week. Outdoor practices begin late April, weather permitting, and will be two days a week. Note: This year’s fee only covers the program. 2018 SummerCamps Guide

Registration InformationREGISTRATION Camp registration is now open and all registra-tions are done online. To register for camps, log into your household account or create one if you haven’t already, then choose the child you want to register for camps, select all the camps for that child, then if there are additional children choose them and register them for their camps. Now you are ready for checkout. Go through the checkout process answering any questions along the way. At the end of checkout, you will have two pay-ment options to choose from:

PAYMENT OPTIONSOption 1- Online Payment: at checkout choose online payment and pay in full with a credit card. There is a 3.5% process fee to do this, but your children will be enrolled in the camps that you registered for and you will be paid in full.

Option 2- Offline Payment: at checkout, choose the offline payment option, print off the form and mail or bring it in with a check. Note: Children are not enrolled in camps until payment or de-posit is received.

DEPOSITS There is a $25 per child, per sessions, per camp deposit. Choose the offline payment option to pay the deposits for each camp. Print off the form and mail or bring in a check for the total amount

of the deposits for each camp for each child and session. Deposits are non-refundable.

BALANCE DUE If you choose to pay the deposits, your remaining camp balance has to be paid in full prior to June 15, 2018. We recommend you make regular pay-ments on your balance prior to the above date.

CAMPER INFORMATION/HEALTH FORM One form has to be filled out for each child for the summer. Form must be completed and returned to the rec office prior to June 15. Forms are avail-able on the website under Dept. Info.

LUNCH HOUR FREEIf you sign your children up for a morning and af-ternoon camp in the same week at the same lo-cation in our Sports, Enrichment or Technology Camps, we will watch your child for the hour in-be-tween. Our staff will have lunch with them, 12:00-1:00 p.m., and then get them to their afternoon camp at 1:00 p.m. No transportation between schools is available.

Day CampsAgain this Summer, all three day camps are being held at Allen Brook School due to the construction at Williston Central School. The three day camps are offered Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm. There are 8-one week sessions offered from June 25- August 17. Drop off is from 7:30-8:30am, the camp program is 8:30am-4:30pm and pick up is 4:30-5:30pm. See the Camp Policy & Procedures for registration information. There are no camps Wednesday, July 4th. Campers must provide their own lunch, snacks and drinks daily. Prices are listed with each of the camps. There is a $25 de-posit per camper, per sessions, per camps. A Camper Info/Health Form needs to be done and received by the Rec. Explorers Camp — 4-7 yr. olds The camp provides campers an opportunity to meet new friends, learn new things and have fun. Each day campers participate in themed activities, group games, arts & crafts and free indoor and outdoor play. After a morning on the go, there is lunch and quiet time to rejuvenate and be ready for an afternoon of fun activities.

3D in 4 Ways CampBe an indoor sculptor using materials like polymer clay, wood, plaster, wire, and papier-mâché. Nails and wood glue are used to transform simple pine blocks into painted abstract forms. Wire can become a hang-ing mobile or animal sculpture. YOUTH LACROSSE- 3RD-8TH GRADEDeadline to register is Friday, March 9.

These are competitive leagues that travel for boys and girls in grades 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8. Separate leagues are offered to boys and girls. A minimum number and coach is needed to form a team. If there are not enough players or a coach to field a team, that program will be canceled. Fee is $80 and includes league fees and game supplies, but not the required U.S. Lacrosse membership. Volunteer parent coaches are needed and can sign up when you register your child.

Gym. Open gym times are through March, when school is open and there are no school functions. If no one shows by 6:30 p.m. on a scheduled Friday, the open gym will be can-celled for that Friday.
