The Ramp Operations Coordinator to lead and motivate the large teams of airside drivers for the Assisted Customer operation at Gatwick Airport. Promote and protect the Assisted Customer operation within the wider airport community, whilst ensuring corporate and legisla tive compliance by the use of best practises and safe systems of work.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure disciplinary and control standards are adhered to at all times, including the monitoring of uniform standards, timekeeping, staff attitude and behaviour. • Attend incidents involving the airside drivers and complete thorough investigations in a timely manner• Management of ramp team administration including conducting return to work interviews• Conduct regular audits of staff• Provide support to the airside drivers on tasks if requested• Ensure effective and fair allocation of vehicles• Communicate vehicle status to the Operations Delivery Managers throughout the day to avoid impact to operation• Favourably represent the operational management team at meetings with airlines/Gatwick Airport Ltd/handling agents/law enforc ement/Border Force etc

Required skills/Experience:

• Full Driving Licence held for two years or more, with C/D classes, must be over the age of 23 due to insurance restrictions• Deliver excellent customer service• IT Literate

Desirable:

• Airside Driving Permit• HGV Desirable
