WIN-911/ME is a real-time Alarm Notification Management system for Rockwell Automation’s PanelView Plus and FactoryTalk Machine Edition HMI applications.

WIN-911/ME improves operator productivity by allowing them to concentrate on other tasks while the system monitors operations,and offers management a look at specific areas of the plant.

WIN-911/ME is based on the proven WIN-911/PRO technology and has been downsized to meet the needs of alarm notification while keeping the cost low.

The Connection to an ME Application

Each system contains and ActiveX Component which is embedded in the PanelView Plus or FactoryTalk Machine Edition HMI. This ActiveX module is installed and configured in ME Studio and downloaded to the PanelView Plus. Users can configure up to 50 alarms on each PanelView Plus.

The Standard Offering

The initial installation of WIN-911/ME receives the alarm information and directs it to anyone in the phone book that is “on-duty”. The stan-dard notification is via a simplified email connection. This connection is a one-way alert and does not support an acknowledgement of the delivered alarm. The system also includes a single connection to either a phone app or the browser based alarm summary.

The Mobile-911 Option

The Mobile-911 Server is automatically installed with the standard WIN-911/ME software. “Out of the box” it is ready to use the powerful Mobile-911 products. (See the separate datasheet on Mobile-911 to get more information.) The user may use a single connection to power a smart phone or the browser based alarm summary. To expand the connections for plant-wide coverage, the license must be upgraded to allow up to 100 mobile connections.
