It has taken place in many different areas.

After 1990s the portfolio used for educational.

The definition of portfolio

Spande ( 1991 ) define the portfolio as the reflection of the student with the aim of presenting these success in one of more areas.

Gun and peddle (2008) portfolio is a personal collection in which the person depicts and documents his/her success and learning.

Portfolio is defined as large collection of the student assignment and grasp of competency which was determined for curriculum.
