immer möglich auf allen Device Ausprägungen die gleiche “User Experience”
bietet.
Microsoft AccountEin Microsoft Online Account, früher auch Live ID genannt.
Windows StoreEin Online Store für Windows Apps. Benötigt einen Microsoft Account für die
Installation von Windows Apps, aber nicht für die Installation von Updates.
Appx filesDas Packaging Format für Windows Apps. Die Datei beinhaltet alle für eine
Installation notwendigen Dateien (ZIP Format).
Windows Store – Begriffe
SideloadingFür ein Sideloading muss die betreffende Windows App im Store “offline” zur
Verfügung gestellt werden. Damit können die Sourcedateien (siehe Appx)
heruntergeladen und ausserhalb des Stores verteilt und/oder bereitgestellt
werden.
Deep LinkEin Link auf eine App im Public Windows Store. Bereitgestellt via Email und/oder
Privat Store.
LOB AppsLine of Business Applikationen sind zumeist Business spezifische Apps, welche
vom Anbieter zwar im Windows Store bereitgestellt werden, aber dort nicht für
alle verfügbar sind. Der Admin des Kunden muss dem betreffenden Hersteller
eine Einladung zusenden. Dieser muss dann die betreffenden Apps für den
jeweiligen Kunden im Store freischalten.
