This tutorial will show you how to create a project using Windows Movie Maker using still images.
On the left side of your screen, under the heading
Movie Tasks 1. Capture Video, select Import
Pictures.
Navigate to the pictures you want to use
for this project.

Select multiple pictures by holding down the
Control key (Ctrl) and clicking on multiple
pictures. When you are finished, select Import.
To move images from the
Collection area to the Storyboard
area, simply click on the image,
hold the mouse button down, drag
the image down and drop it into the
storyboard area.
Once you have the images in the
storyboard area, you can rearrange
them by clicking on an image,
holding the mouse button down,
and then drag and drop the image to
the new location.
Select Import audio or music.

Navigate to the music you want to use for this
project. Select the music and then select
Import.
Select Show Timeline
Click on your music, and drag it and
drop it into the Timeline.
Once it is in the Timeline, you can
click on it and drag it to the right so
that it is at the beginning of your
movie.

You can resize your music clip by
moving your mouse to the end of
the clip. When you get a double-
sided arrow, click on the mouse,
hold it down and drag it to the left
until your music clip is the correct
length.
Select Show Storyboard
In the Movie Tasks area, select Edit Movie (1)
Select Video Effects (2)
(If the selections under Edit Movie are not showing, click
on the chevron to the right of Edit Movie) (3)
To add a video effect, click on the effect, drag
and drop it onto an image in your story board. (1)
When an image has a video effect applied to it,
the star in the lower left corner of the image will
be blue instead of gray. (2)

Select View video transitions.
To apply a transition, simply click on the transition,
drag it and drop it in the small box between two of
the images in the storyboard.
Select Make titles or credits.

Select where you want to add the title.
Add the text for your title. (1)
You can select More Options (2) to
change the font, color, etc.
When you are finished, select Done,
add title to movie. (3)
Select Save to my Computer
