Introduction

• We were given a challenge where we had to investigate an aspect of the school.

• We decided to investigate the number of windows per floor.

• We were wondering if every floor of every building had the same amount of windows.

• We chose to go outside and count how many windows per floor we have in the six school buildings.

Mode Median Mean Range• The Mean is 23.736 to get this we did all the sum of windows divided by

how much times it occurs.• The mode is 11 and 10

– 11 from the old school house (OSH) floor 1 and 2. – 10 from the Wetinger house floor 0 and 5.

• The median is 19.~– The median is the number in the middle of a set of numbers.

• The range is 85 because the smallest number is 4 and the biggest is 89.– We need to subtract 4 from 89 to get the range.

Conclusion!

– We learnt that none of the floors have the same number of windows except the old school house and the Wetinger house.

– We could maybe use this information if we need to inspect all the windows and to check if we missed any windows out.

– Thank you for watching and listening!
