With this in mind I would like to remind all at Windsor that our updated uniform expectations can be found on our website. All students need appropriate school shoes and those choosing to wear skirts must ensure they are of suitable length, which we deem to be between knee length to just above the ankle. Trousers should be black and tailored (skinny jeans, leggings or tight trousers are not acceptable). Other than a plain stud earring, piercings are not allowed in school, hoodies should not be worn under blazers and headscarfs should be black. Any student wishing to have a piercing over the holiday will need this to be done at the start of the holiday as no piercings are permitted in school and would need to be removed before being allowed to class. I would like to therefore ask that parents and carers use the summer break to ensure your child’s uniform meets these essential standards as students not in correct uniform will not be prepared for excellence and cannot therefore be allowed in lessons. Kind regards Mr Morley

School closures: School will be finishing early on two occasions next week: Wednesday 10th July: 2.30pm (for staff training)

Friday 12th July: 12.40pm (to prepare for Activities week)

School uniform and standards We are very proud of the high standards students at Windsor consistently achieve as we understand how important ly future employers value individual progress, effort, leadership, resilience and appearance.

Important Information regarding Lockers for ALL YEAR Groups

Please remind your son/daughter to empty their school locker by Friday 12th July and remove their lock. Any locker that has not been emptied by this date will have the lock removed and contents taken to Lost Property. In line with school procedure these items will be kept for 2 weeks only before being disposed of. If you have paid for a locker in advance or wish to pay for one next year, these will be allocated when school commences in September.

It is essential that all lockers are emptied and padlocks removed to enable site team to repair any damage and move lockers if necessary.

RNLI respect the water campaign As we approach the summer, we would ask that you discuss water safety with your child/ren as hot weather may encourage more young people to take to the water. In tutor time we will be working with students to ensure they know how to keep safe and how to float more effectively and efficiently should they need to, using resources from the below RNLI website. https://www.respectthewater.com/
