Spring Rosé Dinner!
May 2, 2019 – Masselow’s Rose Dinner – 6:00 reception, 6:30 first plate - $85.
This year we will not do a tasting of dry pink wines, we will have an entire din-
ner! Inspired by the range of cuisines enjoyed in the South of France, Spain and
Italy, Chef Tanya has chosen a menu from Scampi to Lamb with Seabass, Salmon
and our signature Hummus plate along the way! In addition to the immediate he-
donistic appeal of pink wine, we have found a depth of flavor that we are anxious to
share. We will have wines from Provence, Austria, Washington and beyond! We
hope you can join us!
Reservations can be made at 509-481-6020, or at www.masselows.com

414 Chateau Ste. Michelle “Mimi” Chardonnay, Columbia Valley 2017 13/ 50

WHITE WINE FEATURE
347 Syncline Picpoul, Columbia Valley 2017 14 / 54
Pinot Gris with its winter coat on. The smooth lime citrus aromas that waft out of this glass give away its slightly
higher alcohol content, but it is the tarragon and white pepper spiced flavors on the palate that truly set it apart
from the crowd. The texture is weightier, so we recommend it with our Giant Prawn Cocktail, Seared Scallops or
Seabass. Ask for a taste!
WINE FLIGHTS Masselow’s features many great wines of the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
We can also offer them in sample size tastes.

1708 Amavi Cabernet Sauvignon, Walla Walla Valley 2015 16.5/ 64

RED WINE FEATURES 1522 Secret Squirrel “Rhone Blend”, Columbia Valley 2015 16/65
For lovers of bold, spicy red blends. This WA red wine hits all the high points for steakhouse wine. Moderate to
smooth tannins accent the ripe blackberry, spicy vanilla and black pepper impressions. Immediately appealing, this
wine can be enjoyed as an appetizer on its own! It also pairs easily with our Bone-in Ribeye or Porterhouse. Orin
Swift has made many of our favorite wines, this one is merely the most recent. Ask for a taste!
1639 Quilceda Creek “CVR” Cabernet Blend, Columbia Valley 2015 27/95
Quilceda Creek has raised the bar for Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon. This year is the first year we have
been able to purchase from them, so we are offering their Columbia Valley Red as introduction. This red blend
shows off a concentration of black currant, black berry and smoky vanilla flavors that linger on the palate longer
than the majority of Washington Cabernets and this is their second wine. The blend is 81% Cabernet Sauvignon,
11% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petite Verdot. We keep this in our 55 degree cellar for maximum fresh-
ness so it will arrive at that temperature to preserve the depth and range of flavors in this impressive wine.

SPRITZERS AND REFRESHERS
Classic Shirley Temple - 6
Miss Temple enjoyed her favorite beverage with ginger ale, not Sierra Mist, we craft this one with a very ginger-y
soda and grenadine for an amazing, refreshing take on this familiar soda.
Huckleberry Lemonade - 7
Authentic huckleberry puree in a tall glass of lemonade with a fresh lemon wedge.
Caribbean Breeze - 7
Coconut and pineapple juice anchor this refreshing mocktail with cranberry, fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh
squeezed grapefruit juice and a touch of grenadine.
