Serviceability @ Winergy gearboxes

Winergy gearboxes are designedwith highest focus on serviceability.

§ Winergy’s design guidelines require thepossibilities of up-tower repairs.

§ Service concepts incl. special tools for up-towerrepairs are an integral part of new gearboxdevelopments.

To secure the optimum results the gearbox repair work shouldbe performed by Winergy trained / authorized personnel only.



The special tools are designed withlong-term experiences with respect to:Ø Simple tool handlingØ Optimized weightØ Highest safety during work

These special-repair tools are duly tested in thefield and “CE” – labeled. Work instructions canbe provided in German & English language.

Our engineering experts are developing upgradesolutions and new up-tower repairs constantly forthe huge fleet of more than 100.000 Winergygearboxes and 150 GW worldwide.



In general most of the auxiliary components* outsidethe gearbox can be maintained and replaced up-toweras required – e. g.:
