We have designed a modular leash system that can be customised for rider preference. Our wings ship standard with a Waist Strap pre-attached to the Leash Line.

Optional leash system accessories are a velcro Wrist Strap or a Quick Release for use with the supplied Waist Strap or for connecting the Leash Line to a harness.

Wing Leash System

Leash Line The Leash Line features a strong Dyneema line with internal bungee core and an ultra light Stainless Steel swivel to keep the leash twist free. It connects to the wings Leading Edge via a loop-to-loop connection and can easily be removed if necessary.

Waist Strap The Waist Strap is slim and lightweight with a strong buckle closure and size adjustment buckle. It connects to the Leash Line via a loop-to-loop connection.

1. Wrap the strap around your waist and close the buckle.

2. Use the adjustment buckle to fit.3. To release the Waist Strap undo the buckle.

Waist Strap with Quick Release Riders who prefer extra security to detach from the wing in a fast and easy way can add the Quick Release between the Waist Strap and Leash Line. The Quick Release is sold separately.

Connecting/setting the Quick Release:1. Disconnect the Waist Strap from the Leash Line (undo the loop-to-loop connection).2. Connect the Quick Release to the Leash Line with a loop-to-loop connection.3. Raise the release handle to open the release pin.4. Feed the release pin through the Waist Strap loop.5. Align the release pin with the release handle.6. Lower the release handle over the release pin.

Activating the Quick Release:1. Raise the release handle to activate the Quick Release.2. Let go of the release handle.

Wrist Strap The Wrist Strap features a velcro closure with a soft neoprene inside layer. It connects to the Leash Line via a loop-to-loop connection. The Wrist Strap is sold separately.

1. Wrap the strap around your wrist and close the velcro.2. Ensure it is tight enough to not slip off.3. To release the Wrist Strap undo the velcro.

Leash Line to Harness connection with Quick Release: Connecting/setting the Quick Release:1. Connect the Quick Release to the Leash Line with a loop-to-loop connection. 2. Connect the small Line Loop to the harness by feeding it through the leash connection point and

looping it back onto itself. 3. Raise the release handle to open the release pin.4. Feed the release pin through the Line Loop.5. Align the release pin with the release handle.6. Lower the release handle over the release pin.

Leash Line to Harness connection without Quick Release: Confident riders using a harness looking for the slickest and lightest setup can connect the Leash Line directly to the harness without the Quick Release. 1. Feed the Leash Line loop through the leash connection point on harness.2. Larks head it back onto the knot on the Leash Line.

Note: Attaching the Leash Line directly to a harness will not allow for an quick and easy release from the wing in an emergency situation. The rider would therefore need to take the harness of to detach from the wing. We highly recommend using the Quick Release with a harness.

Activating the Quick Release:1. Raise the release handle to activate the Quick Release.2. Let go of the release handle.
