“Any significant new building is a prototype”

Wintech purpose built façade testing facility situated in Telford, close to the Midland motorway network, is one of only two of its kind in Europe.

Sample sizes of up to 3 storeys high can be accommodated in bespoke rigs, or alternatively smaller samples can be tested under

full internal laboratory conditions. The facility is also able to simulate seismic induced building movements.

IN-HOUSE LABORATORY TESTING

Wintech provide a comprehensive range of materials testing and accreditation services. These include the industry standard intrusion resistance tests in accordance with BS EN 12600 hard and soft body impact testing, glass

and safety film impact testing to demonstrate compliance with CE requirements.Wintech also complete window performance testing at their in-house purpose

built research and development rig. Bespoke testing can also be undertaken including material strength and pullout tests.
