Welcome NoteWe are delighted to introduce to you some of the highlights coming your way this Winter season.

To kick start our season the unmissable antics of Faulty Towers…the unique dining experience, will be visiting the Royal St George Yacht Club & Royal Marine Hotel to serve you a host of gags and a fantastic three course meal.

In November Fishamble’s Silent, winner of two coveted awards at Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2011, will make its way to us for the first time along with Pan Pan’s The Rehearsal, Playing the Dane. If dance is your thing then Colin Dunne’s (Riverdance) intimate solo show Out of Time is for you.

Music Network are back with exceptional pianist Alexej Gorlatch; we have the ever popular John Spillane and the haunting, lyrical voice of Eurovision winner Eimear Quinn, accompanied by the Marmisa String Quartet - just the thing to get you into the Christmas spirit. In the New Year we will be joined by Declan O’Rourke.

If you’re up for a laugh this winter we have quite a line-up in store for you! David O’Doherty (Oct), David McSavage and a comedy triple bill featuring Kevin McAleer, Joe Rooney & Barry Murphy coming your way this December.

We have so much on offer this season but it’s probably easier if you just take a look inside…

Looking forward to seeing you all over the coming months.

Pan Pan Theatre presents

The Rehearsal, Playing the Dane

Fishamble: The New Play Company presents

SilentWritten and performed by Pat Kinevane

There’s something strange in the neighbourhood of contemporary Denmark. Who are you going to call? That is the question. In Pan Pan’s purgatorial presentation of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, you the audience are faced with a choice: who is going to be, or not to be, Hamlet? Actors compete to play the title role but as we enter the graveyard world of this icon of individualism can anyone escape playing the Dane?

Aren’t we all the main part?Highly innovative and visually breathtaking, this is an audacious and irreverent riff on Hamlet that does not so much update or deconstruct the play as explode it.Pan Pan is funded by the Arts Council.

Fri 4-Sat 5 Nov 8pmTickets €25/20

Homeless McGoldrig once had splendid things. But he has lost it all - including his mind. He now dives into the wonderful wounds of his past through the romantic world of Rudolph Valentino. Dare to laugh at despair and gasp at redemption in this brave, bold, beautiful new production.

‘Kinevane moves, in a striking performance under Jim Culleton’s effective direction, with the elegance of a dancer and the engaged poise of a boxer. It’s a startling combination...the caress of poetry and the disarming direct address of stand-up...a moving story, which, until its end, pulses with the erratic noise of life’ Irish Times

Fishamble: The New Play Company is funded by the Arts Council and Dublin City Council. Its international touring is supported by Culture Ireland.
