− Open the Events & Clubs tab, select the After School Clubs link in the left-hand column, and follow the Registration link on the bottom of the page.

− You will need to submit one form per child per club.

− If you experience difficulties during the registration process, please email us at [email protected] for assistance.

Payment

Payment will be required upon receipt of a confirmation email from the After School Clubs team and must be made via a secure credit card transaction on the PTA website at www.edgemontpta.my-pta.org. Do not make any payment transactions until you have received an email confirming club registrations; the website will not accept transactions until then.

− An email will be sent to you confirming your children’s enrollment. The total payment is due shortly after you receive this confirmation. You must then log on to the PTA website and make a secure credit card transaction from the PTA Shop tab (Please read the Payment FAQs carefully for further information on the security of the site). If you do not immediately receive an emailed receipt of your transaction, it was not successful and you must try again.

− CANCELLATION POLICY: Any requests to cancel a registration during the registration period will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Once clubs begin, there will be no refunds or credits of fees for any reason. Clubs can only run if there are enough registrants. Once the decision has been made to run a club based on the number of children who have registered, and families have been invoiced, we cannot accept ANY cancellations and do expect prompt payment. We appreciate your cooperation in this process and hope that your children enjoy their chosen clubs.

No phone calls will be made regarding registration. Confirmations will be delivered via email. Final room assignments and class rosters will be posted on the PTA bulletin boards.

For any more information regarding registration, please contact Amy Traverso (SP) or Dolya Fleck (GV) at [email protected].

Program Guidelines and Policies The After School Club policies have been updated.

Please read and note that these policies will all be in effect for all sessions.

1. Parents are responsible for their children between the close of school at 3:00 and the beginning of clubs at 3:15. Please make appropriate arrangements. School personnel are not responsible for your children, and will not supervise them. Additionally, children who register for 4:20 clubs may not remain unsupervised in the building when school is dismissed at 3:00.

2. CANCELLATION POLICY: Any requests to cancel a registration during the registration period will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Once clubs begin there will be no refunds or credits of fees for any reason.

3. Please remember that students of both schools are eligible for all classes regardless of location. Parents are responsible for transportation.

4. Enrollment, room location, time and dates of all After School Clubs will be posted on the PTA Bulletin Boards at Greenville and Seely Place. Please check those boards carefully. No phone calls will be made to let you know if your child has been admitted to a club and there will be no reminders of start and end dates.

5. Please make sure to pick up your child promptly after each class. Instructors are not responsible for your child after class is over.

6. The behavior of your child enrolled in an After School Club must be consistent with the proper behavior expected in the classroom during normal school hours. If a student’s behavior is repeatedly disruptive and affects the functioning of the club, the student’s parents/guardians will be put on notice. If the disruption continues, the student may be removed from all future sessions of the club and no refund will be given.

7. Instructors are not obligated to make-up classes - indoors or out - that are cancelled for weather-related reasons. Parents or caregivers of students enrolled in After School Clubs must check their emails and the After School Clubs bulletin boards daily while clubs are in session for important updates.

− If schools are closed due to inclement weather, there will be no After School Clubs.

− Outdoor clubs may be cancelled due to weather even when school grounds are open.

8. If a minimum enrollment is not met, it may be necessary to cancel clubs that were originally offered. If this happens, you will be notified by the After School Clubs coordinators and given the option to enroll your child in a different club.

9. Registration is not on a first come, first served basis. When the number of applicants exceeds the maximum class size, a lottery will be held. If a class is over-subscribed and your child does not get in through the lottery, you will be given preference for that club in the next session. There will be one carryover from one session to the next. If a club goes to lottery and your child has already taken it this year, they will not be eligible to participate in the lottery until all other interested children have had the opportunity to take the club. This will allow as many children as possible to participate in the available clubs throughout the year. If there is room, a child may take the same club in consecutive sessions.
