Jessica Lopes, 10“See No Evil”Jessica Lopes says she has been creat-ing art ever since she was born. Lopes submitted seven art pieces to this year’s Winter Art Show. She was inspired to create See No Evil by the motto “See no evil, Speak no evil, Hear no evil.” Also she chose to include lollipops in her artwork because she says that she loves candy and it’s fun. This will be Lope’s second year participating in the art show.

Chelsea Hall, 12“Tattoos”Chelsea Hall has been creating art ever since she could write. She was inspired to create her art piece Tattoos because she wanted to capture the scene of Jack and Sally in each other’s arms. This particular scene stands out to Hall because when Sally was trying to escape from her creator she uses trickery to escape and find her true love. Hall has participated in a Wood-creek Art Show when she was in Art 3.

Willian Trevett, 12“Man/Machine”William Trevett has been drawing “since pretty much forever.” He became more serious about art in middle school. Trevett submitted seven pieces of art to this year’s Winter Art Show. Trevett’s inspi-ration to create Man/Machine was the feeling of being surrounded by technology all of the time and his interest in modern technology. Trevett says he wanted to create a piece that was unique. He tried out a different art form that he hadn’t used before. This year is Trevett’s first time in the art show.

Alison Stewart, 12“Police Man with Doughnuts”Alison Stewart says she has been drawing as long as she can remem-ber. Stewart has submitted seven art pieces to this year’s Winter Art Show. “My concentration was called Breakfast…I wanted to do something different. I thought it would be funny to do a cop with doughnuts,” said Stewart, explaining her inspiration for her piece Police Man with Doughnuts. This Winter Art Show is Stewart’s second year participating in the art show.

Kayla Flores, 12“Coffee and Scone”Kayla Flores has been creating art since she was 12 years-old. Flores submitted nine art pieces into the Winter Art Show. She was inspired to create Coffee and Scone because she wanted to show something that ties in with her concentration titled “My Addiction.” Flores was at Starbucks when she ordered a frappaccino and scones and she realized that it would make a great piece to express her caf-feine addiction. This is Flores’ second year participating in the show.
