Music for Little Mozarts (ages 4-6) is an award winning series by Alfred Publishing Co. for the very young child that develops the fundamentals of playing the piano through
singing and movement. Students build skills of listening, reading, improvisation,technique, ensemble playing, and composition. Must have a piano at home for practice.

Piano Adventures (ages 7-12) is a program designed for elementary andmiddle school students to develop the basic skills of playing piano.
Students will learn to read music based on two acclaimed series: Faber’sPiano Adventures & Alfred’s Premier Piano Course. Must have a piano at
home for practice. Piano rental and purchase available at AMUSE.
The Certificate of Merit (CM) prep program is designed to prepare piano studentsfor the MTAC Certificate of Merit exams offered each year. Students will learn
both music theory and level-appropriate performance literature.

The AMUSE String Chamber Orchestra (ASCO) is an opportunity for intermediate string playersto expand their skill sets in an ensemble setting, with fun and challenging repertoire that is

The “A Step Ahead Series” strengthens and reinforces the skillstaught in the local districts' instrumental music programs.
Students will build a strong foundation and gain confidence intheir technical skills, note and pitch recognition, rhythm, and
ensemble playing. The "A Step Ahead Series" Winter 2020 sessionis for continuing 4th & 5th graders from the previous Fall 2019

The AMUSE Singers seriously love to sing! This adult a cappella choir performs jazz, pop,and Broadway tunes all across the South Bay. No audition required. Music reading is not
