• Maintain a safe following distance• Drop your speed to match road conditions.• Watch for black ice.• Accelerate and brake slowly.• Avoid sudden moves.• Know how to handle a skid.• See and be seen.• Be extremely cautious when approaching highway

triangles, flares, etc.• Call for help• Avoid overexertion and
exposure• Towing should only be
performed by competent and trained personnel
• Lowering the window allows fresh air into cab.
