  • Strange winter This year`s winter is very strange. First winter was too warm. Then followed a week of severe cold. Again the sun and high temperatures. In the meantime some rain, mist and gray sky. Finally snow, which was nice only a day or two- until it turned into icy horror.

  • The worst devastation in living memory Snow and ice has paralyzed Slovenia, bringing down trees and electricity pylons, cutting power from our homes and causing millions of euros of damage.

  • 6th December St. Nicholas The holiday season begins with the feast of St. Nicholas on December 6th. He comes down from heaven. With him come the angels and the devils. He brings toys, fruit, sweets or stick.

  • Advent time Advent is the time of four weeks before Christmas. We made beautiful wreaths. It is also the time when we think about our past and what we can do better in the future.
