What is the Flagship Program?
A community-school partnership that enhances the social, aca-demic, cultural and physical achievement of Missoula’s youth
by creating opportunities that help them to succeed and grow to become healthy and productive adults.
It is FREE for all Meadow Hill families.
Who can join?
All MHMS students can participate! Come once a week or mul-tiple days to have fun while learning new things with great mentors!
When & Where do programs meet?
Program Times:
Monday - Wednesday: 3:30
to 5:15 pm
Thursday: 2:30 to 5:15 pm
Friday : 3:30 to 5:15 pm
Program Dates:
Winter: 2/12— 3/22
Spring: 4/1— 4/26
NO FLAGSHIP: March 7, 8,
25-29, and April 22
Parent pick up is from 5:00 pm to 5:15 pm

How can students get involved?
Parents and students discuss program options, then fill out the Registration Form (last page of brochure) and return it to the Flagship Office , Homeroom Teacher, or Main Office. Flagship runs on a first come first serve basis so return the forms for priority placement by Feb. 1st! Please make it as readable as possible. Confirmations will be sent home with students with any additional permission forms to be filled out.

Healthy Eats: Each week we’ll learn another new recipe that is both yummy and good for you! Cook well, eat well, and feel great!
International Art: Each week we will try to imitate an artist’s work from around the world and throughout time and make it your own. Pretend to be a famous artist and expand your artist skills every week!
Science Club: Bring out your inner scientist! We’ll do a new experiment every week, and be like Bill Nye in no time!
Dance Club: Show off your moves! We’ll be learning new techniques and choreography each week. Open to all levels of skill.
Film Club: Make your own film or music video with professional equipment and professional film ex-perts from MCAT.
Track and Field (starting April 1st): Play field games, compete in relays, and improve your endurance!
Freestone Climbing: Saturday February 23rd Time: 4 -8pm
Support Flagship by climbing at Freestone. Half of all day passes sold will go to The Flagship Program.
5 on Black: Monday April 29th Mention Flagship when you order and half of all the proceeds made at 5 on Black will go back to The Flagship Program. This community fundraiser is at both Missoula locations.

Program Descriptions: Multiple Days: Homework Zone
Do you need time to get your homework done or work on a project? This is an after school study hall with tutors open to all students. You MUST bring homework to attend! Feel free to sign up for one or multiple days. Tues 3:30 - 5:15 pm and Thurs 2:30—5:15 pm
Mondays:
EPIC : Come find your EPIC voice and make a difference! Students work with high school leaders and other EPIC clubs to design an AWESOME project to share with Mis-soula. Facilitated by EmpowerMT.
Creative Writing: Show off and develop your writing skills! We will be practicing a variety of writing styles, challenging ourselves with writing exercises, and building our storytelling abilities!
Music Club: Learn about the history of music by study-ing artists, reading lyrics, listening to their albums, and jamming out! You’ll meet new friends while exploring gen-res that you may have never heard before.
Mindfulness : Embark on a mindful journey, trying yo-ga, meditation, and breathing techniques for relaxation, self-control and weekly resets!
Outdoor Adventures : Get outside, make new friends, and take in the great outdoors! In this club, you'll be play-ing, building, and exploring so wear warm clothes.

Active 6 (ends 3/22): Come join the fun in ACTIVE 6 afterschool! We will play fun sports and games, eat a healthy snack, and learn about healthful living.
TLC Club: Join TLC, or Tender Loving Care, club to talk about what TLC means to you. Work together to deliver care to others through acts of service, thoughtful notes, and artistic projects. Together we can make the world a kinder place!”
GUTS: Girls will change the world! Join “Girls Speak Out,” a program of GUTS (girls understanding their strengths), and practice making positive change. You will work in groups to identify issues that matter most to you, com-plete a group action project, and learn about yourself along the way.

Art Club: Each week we’ll do a different project from sculpting to drawing. Let your inner artist out!
Time Travelers: Each week we will learn about a dif-ferent time in history and pretend that we are there! Travel through time while learning about the world!
Chess Club: Knight to Queen’s Bishop 3” “Checkmate!” Come join the Chess Club and have a strategic battle, learn new skills, and meet new friends along the way.
Conservation Club: Learning outdoor survival skills, about plants and ecosystems, and meeting others passion-ate about protecting the environment has never been so fun!
