The Riverview Parks and Recreation Department understands we are a diverse community offering many resources, facilities, programs and events to citizens. In order to share the information with

you, we have put together a one-stop package on the website. Check frequently for periodic surveys and contests as well.

Your input is valuable! Share your feedback with us anytime through the contact us link.

Furthermore, to receive updates about Parks & Recreation programs and events, become an Active Riverview fan on Facebook or follow us on Twitter!

In motion is an enthusiastic community wide initiative to live, work and play in a healthy and active Riverview.

Believe it or not, it’s pretty easy to pull together 30 minutes of exercise over the course of a day. Take an in motion stretch break at work, go for a skate at the Byron Dobson or visit our beautiful Dobson Trail for a hike in the snow. The opportunities are endless.

If you, your family or your organization are interested in becoming a part of the in motion movement, please contact Ashley at 387-2028 or by email [email protected].

Don’t forget to wear your ‘in motion T-shirt’ when you are active! On sale now at the Parks and Recreation office for only $6! Sizes and colours may vary. Get started today to enjoy the health benefits of being in motion!

NEW! In the spring, be on the look out for in motion parking spaces in Riverview Business’s parking lots. We are designating parking spots for people would like to reap the benefits of being physically active!

Is there something you think we should include or change? Please email [email protected] with comments!
