CRPR MUNICIPAL PARKS

Wondering how you can help improve the Centre Region? Join the Gifts-For-Parks initiative! Donations of all shapes and sizes help CRPR provide important “extras” that create a more enjoyable leisure experience for all area residents. Over the past several years, this successful program has generated tremendous community support from individuals, groups, and organizations throughout the Centre Region. CRPR recognizes contributions to the Gifts-For-Parks program monthly on the website and annually in the CRPR Fall Active Guide.

The Centre Region

“Gifts-For-Parks” Program

Volunteering is thriving in the Centre Region! The Centre Region “Park Partners” Program is an initiative that encourages public and private groups to assist with various improvements to municipal park areas. Volunteer projects have provided many valuable improvements to our park areas over the years such as the PNC-United Way “Day of Caring,” the Comcast Cares/Park Partner Day each Spring, special projects and cleanups by scouting, community, and civic groups. Our thanks to the current CRPR Park Partners. For more information about becoming a “Park Partner” or to view a list of the 17 current partners, please visit www.crpr.org.

Centre Region “Park Partners” Another “Branch” of the Gifts-For-Parks Program

Help Grow the regional Parks!

The Centre Region Parks and Recreation Authority established a tree planting cam-paign aimed at honoring our Nation’s Veterans while assisting to further improve the new Regional Parks. The MyVeteran/MyHero Tribute Tree Campaign will initial-ly be focused at the new Oak Hall Regional Park. For more information on this honor-able initiative please visit: www.crpr.org/MyVeteranMyHero

In addition to the My Veteran/My Hero Program, CRPR also invites residents to mark a personal milestone with a Remembrance Tree or Memorial Bench.

For more information, please visit www.crpr.org.
