Encrypt / Decrypt

Use WinZip to secure confidential files using

password-based AES encryption. WinZip keeps your

files completely safe when saving or sending. And it's

as simple as checking a box. Plus it auto-wipes or

"shreds" temporarily extracted copies of encrypted

files using the U.S. Department of Defense standard

(DoD 5220.22-M). This prevents them from being

recovered and misused. You can also define your own

password policy for the utmost security.

Backup & Automate

Prevent data loss with the WinZip automated data

backup facility. Backup selected data files and

schedule those backups to run automatically and

unattended. Backup your desktop, documents,

pictures, email, etc. using pre-defined operations or

create your own custom backup jobs. Burn your

backup data to CD/DVD or network drive, or upload

your backups to an off-site server using the built-in

WinZip FTP client. WinZip will even send you

automated email notifications upon job completion.
