Bed Monitoring: Objective
Bed sensors determine if patient is in bed
Switches in a grid pattern are used to determine the patients location
Can be used in various hospice settings
![Page 9: Wireless Patient Monitoring System](https://reader033.vdocument.in/reader033/viewer/2022061608/56815eb3550346895dcd3aa4/html5/thumbnails/9.jpg)

Contact SwitchesThe switches are constantly
open unless depressed by a patient on the bed.
This will send a high(1) signal to the microcontroller

Bed Monitoring: Design One sheet of plywood serves as a base, while the
switches are mounted on top of it. The second sheet of plywood has holes drilled in it.
When the switches are depressed, they are flush with the top sheet of plywood.
Egg crate foam pad rests on top of the plywood to create a comfortable sleeping environment.

Through LabVIEW, we can make a presentable way to show the nurse the information on each patient that needs to be monitored.
We take data from the sensors taken from the other groups and present them in an organized manner
To do this, we use a wireless receiver in order to gather the data from their sensors
Nurse’s Station: Objective
![Page 17: Wireless Patient Monitoring System](https://reader033.vdocument.in/reader033/viewer/2022061608/56815eb3550346895dcd3aa4/html5/thumbnails/17.jpg)
LabVIEW is used to display the information obtained from the patient and bed sensors
Transceiver will request and receive packets of data from all the sensors on the network
