The Latest Topics!Children’s Religious Education We are planning to resume classes in September, however, due to the challenging and ever-changing restrictions in place, we will likely not be able to continue in a conventional classroom setting. We are asking all parents and guardians who would like to enroll their children in Religious Education/Sacramental Preparation for the 2020/21 school year, to please assist us by filling out a short questionnaire to help us determine how best to format our program. Pro-Life Ministry Our Lady of Light Parish Pro-Life Ministry is partnering with the USCCB People of Life Campaign: Walking with Moms in Need: A Year of Service. This is a nationwide, parish-based effort to assist pregnant mothers in need. A Message from Father Rick
How much faith do you have? Jesus has faith and he is Faith himself. Even if he was so much affected by the death of John his cousin and precursor, his faith is never diminished or shaken. In contrast, the disciples had very little. All they got were five loaves and two fish. These were absolutely not enough to satisfy the hunger and thirst for thousands of people. With the power and grace of God they could. When faith is added to the equation any necessity in life will turn into abundance and even surplus. Jesus in this Sunday’s gospel reading is reminding us of this indispensable equation in life that we have to live by every day and every day it should be, 5+2 (faith) = 12. Not even a great mathematician could ever figure out this problem, only the one who has great faith and trust in the Lord.
We are resuming celebration of Masses outside the Church. We continue to hold on to our devotion of Our Lady by praying the rosary. Thank you for keeping up the faith and for your love and devotion to the Church. For the remaining days of summer our Masses will be celebrated in the Grotto.

It might be too hot to celebrate Mass at 10:00 AM outside on Sunday that is why we are temporarily moving it to 6:00 PM.
