"Val-de-Marne is proud of managing water in the county, but mainly of
being active in this field, of witnessing our experience, of giving the floor to
many, of hosting activists, of being involved in solidarity actions, of
believing in dreams... That is the base of our policy. I'm convinced that such
an ambitiousness is now essential. This very resource is flowing at our
feet, full of risks but also of promesses. It makes us face our
reponsibilities, and I'm sure of that : the experience we got, and the ways
we work it out allow us to meet this challenge."
Christian Favier, president
of the Conseil général of Val-de-Marne
