Theres a reason why most millennials are moving on from one item to the next. Its because they are part of a generation that has the desire and the drive to pursue all their dreams, even if it means having to shift from one item to the next.

These millennials are called the Generation Y, or Gen Y, for short.

Gen Y is comprised of persons, who were born from the 90s to the 2000s. A group of complex individuals with unique and distinct personalities.

Moreover, this group is not necessarily that easy to please, and one that wants things quick and uncomplicated. These are people who grew up in relatively simple surroundings, but quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment.

    Keeping upwith Gen Y

To most people, they seem misunderstood and somewhat lost. What the general public needs to understand is that the Gen Y cannot be confined to one thing alone. Because of their upbringing and ever-changing environment, they grew up needing flexibility and allowance on time, to be able to move around and accomplish various tasks at once. They have difficulty being confined solely on one aspect of life and they yearn for balance in the different facets of their work and social activities.

In Amway, we take the Gen Ys sentiment to heart and we turn their Whys? into

concrete actions, by offering them a business opportunity conducive to their lifestyle.

As Amway Business Owners (ABO), the Gen Y will be able to arrange their schedule in a way that will allow them to balance out work with play. They would no longer be restricted to a specific work schedule. More than that, they will even have the leeway to pursue their other passions and activities. But dont just take our word for it. Check out the Amway Philippines YouTube channel, and watch our Generation Amway videos, to find out what our Gen Y ABOs had to say about Amway.

So, if you are a part of the Gen Y, dont hesitate to visit www.amwayhappynings.com website to get a better glimpse of your next working possibility.

Today, we look back on all of the work we have done together. You should be proud of all you have accomplished. Many of you have surpassed your goals and you continue to amaze us with your creativity, passion and entrepreneurial spirit. We are so proud of all of you and we encourage you to look forward to the New Year with even higher goals as you continue to grow as leaders.

Since the beginning, everything we have done and continue to do is built on our Founders Fundamentals of Freedom, Family, Hope and Reward. And as we enter new countries and regions, and continue to evolve our business, weve learned that the entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well. Its the dream people have around the world for a better life for themselves and those around them.

All of our Founders Fundamentals are important, but Reward is one that can mean many things. One of the most rewarding parts of the Amway business is being able to support organizations or causes that help make our world a better place to live.

By building a better life, our business owners understand the value of contributing to their communities. Its the acts of selfless courage, commitment to great causes and heart-warming responses to those in need that can be found in IBOs around the world.

Its rewarding to give time and money to something or someone you believe in, and have worked tremendously hard to improve the lives of yourselves, your families and your communities. You should be proud that you have been a great example for business owners around the world to follow, as they each start or continue to give.

Thank you for your partnership in helping people live better lives. We couldnt do it without you.

My friend introduced Amway to me way back 2013, but I was already aware a long time ago that Amway is a direct selling company and even was an ABO during that period. When Amway was re-introduced to me, I was surprised to see so many products Amway is offering right now. Ranging from food supplements to personal care products, coffee and chocolate drinks, agricultural and artistry products as well. So without a doubt, I joined Amway to try its products for my personal use.

I was so happy with the products so I decided to introduce the food supplements to my friend. After sharing it to her, it totally changed my attitudes towards Amway products because it greatly improved the health of my friend and it was also fulfilling to see that I help her at the same time.

I also earned from Amway products. From then on, I never stop inviting and introducing Amway to my friends and relatives, and even to strangers that I met anywhere I go. I believe that nobody fails in Amway, for as long as one has the determination to go for it to achieve their dreams. Amway business is quite unique in the sense that it is the kind of business where everyone encourages, supports and helps one another.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, so the saying goes. John started the business in January 2006 with Amond as his mentor. They joined their businesses and built it together with the help of their business coach, Ms. Luisa Arceo.

It was not easy. Amond was a nurse and John was a doctor, both of them had no business background in school. They worked in the Philippine General Hospital where long hours and sleepless nights were common. Add to this the work of building their business and it was very tiring. Through all of this, Amond and John worked together; through thick and thin, in sickness and in health, for richer and for poorer, and got married in October 2006. Building the business with a renewed goal for their new family, and with the help of their business team, they became Silver Producers in 2008. Amond was able to retire from her job as a nurse and take care of their family.

They continued to build the business at the same time as taking care of a growing family and moving to Johns home province. Through a continuing belief in their DREAMS and AMWAY, they became Gold Producers in July 2015, and Platinum Directs in November 2015. It is with a joyful heart and a thankful spirit for the Lords blessings that Amond and John now look forward to bigger dreams and business goals in the future.

My sister introduced me to Amway. First, I was so skeptical about it. My sister gave us a lot of Amway products. I never touched nor tried any of them. But she was so pushy so one time I was forced to try one. The first product I tried was Nutrilite. So I started little by little changing my brand-x vitamins to Nutrilite. Later as knowing Amway deeper, my whole family started to love Amway more and more, especially my little Mara. One time she asked me "when can I join Amway?" She wanted to be somebody in Amway. As early as now I can see that I can pass on my Amway career to my next generation.

My family is now enjoying the good benefit of Amway products and the promising career the business offers. And now my husband and I are so glad and overwhelmed to introduce Amway to others. We believe that if you found something good and beneficial to yourself, you also have to share it to others. So my husband and I together with my sister we joined forces to touch more peoples lives. Through sharing and introducing Amway to them, we help make their lives better.

Like in any discipline, being successful in Amway requires team work. So without the support of my mentors and team, I won't be able to achieve what I have attained now. From us, thanks to my sister Regina, special thanks to our mentors for their support, Diamond Annette Tam, Diamond Amanda Ng and Crown Ambassador Sunny Hsui. And, last but not the least, I thank my up line Crown Ambassador Mr. and Mrs. Anita Fu for giving me this opportunity, and above all, thank God for all these blessings!

NUTRILITETM welcomed this 2016 with the launch of its 4th NUTRILITETM Health Run as a sponsoring platform for the ABO community and also for the benefit of the Amway One by One Campaign for Children. This year, a total of 11,000 participants showed up at the three designated venues SM Mall of Asia Grounds (Manila), Cagayan De Oro and SM Ecoland (Davao) to compete in exhilarating leg races that covered 1K, 5K and 10K distances. Moreover, the 1K-race category was specifically brought back once again to entice eager participants, who may not have running experience, to join and gradually begin their journey towards a better lifestyle.

This event took place in a series of three days namely, January 24 (Manila), February 14 (CDO) and February 21 (Davao). These were three days fueled with fun and energy, as both ABOs and non-ABOs alike rushed to make it to the finish line. Some participants, however, were much faster than the rest, as the following individuals placed in their respective races and were able to win amazing prizes from NUTRILITETM.

In spite of that, all the participants came home as winners, because they not only provided their bodies with a healthy dose of activity, but they were also able to share the gift of giving with the children of the Amway One by One program; because a portion of their PHP 350 registration fee will be going to the Amway One by One Campaign for Children. This collected amount will provide books for children, who are in need of it.

Over all, it was truly a very thrilling and meaningful event. Until the next NUTRILITETM Health Run, keep staying active!

We joined the BodyKey program to lose weight and it was simple to follow and enjoyable at the same time; from doing daily physical activities to regulating our diet, to regulating our sleep. We have very little knowledge on how to properly lose weight but BodyKey unlocked the obstacles we needed to overcome to achieve our goal. It was challenging in the beginning since we were all out of shape when we started. We cannot run or even jog but BodyKey initiated us to do just simple activities such as doing 10,000 steps. The Body Key App provided suggested exercises that helped us build our stamina and endurance. We had some challenges along the way such as the feeling of giving up when the pain of exercise starts to set in but since we were doing it as a team where everyone is cheering one another YOU CAN DO IT!, we were able to overcome our weaknesses and

When Nutrilite BodyKey was finally launched in the Philippines, we cant wait to try all its products! With much anticipation before it reached Philippine shores, we were able to see the benefits through our Chinese Uplines who were already taking Nutrilite BodyKey. Moreover, our interest got more intense to find out about the Nutrilite BodyKey Challenge too! Without any second thoughts, we decided to find three people to be part of the challenge.

We completed the Sipag at Tiyaga team last October 22, with the team composing of Romeo, who wants to be fit, healthy & enjoy life at his senior years; Charisse, who dreamt of finding a perfect weight management program so she can work up her body to be healthy and ready enough to have a baby; Sherwin, who tried hard to have a balance lifestyle; and Lily, who wanted to prove to herself and to her friends that our weight management plan works! It is with our individual motivations that drove us

became stronger. There may be some pain, but we kept reminding ourselves NO PAIN NO GAIN. As we progress, we have learned to enjoy challenging ourselves beyond our comfort level. Now, we are able to jog, run, high-jump and perform moderate to high intensity exercises.

The BodyKey App provided a guide on our dietary intake to meet our individual body weight loss goal. The BodyKey App revolutionized our eating habits. We have learned to eat in small portions and come to dislike fatty foods. With the meal replacements and supplements, we have enough calories that sustain our energy throughout the day. We never had the feeling of hunger or fatigue. The BodyKey Challenge UNLOCKED A NEW YOU in all of us. It led us to a fitter, healthier and a happier person. With the new version of ourselves, we have more self-confidence facing other people.

to reach a common goal in confidence. We, then, organized and assigned tasks to each members in order make sure that we are on track and up-to-date with our daily activities. We regularly post updates through our WeChat group conversation. Since we enjoyed and got fond of each others company very much, we became the best of friends in an instant! Because of the Nutrilite BodyKey Challenge, we already rewarded ourselves with the gift of friendship and accountability.

We have different reasons why we joined the BodyKey Challenge, but the whole purpose is to get fit, have a healthy body and lifestyle!

It all started with us standing in front of a mirror, asking ourselves,What do I see? a bothering question that affects our physical, emotional, mental and social well-being.

Fe, a mother and retired bank employee, tells us how her husband would always joke her Wow legs! referring to her arms. Tina, a policy writer in her mid-twenties, says Ang taba-taba ko nakakarumi (Im so fat its annoying) every time she looks into a mirror. Len, an eye doctor and also a mother to her 10 year old son, remembers teasing a full length mirror in a department store that showed her boy bulges. When Len, an entrepreneur, said Ano ba yan pataba ako ng pataba? (What?!?! Im getting fatter everyday). Physically, all of us would complain that walking is simply exhausting, even at short distances. Tina said, at work she feels lazy moving around and asked her officemates to get what she needs; while at home she

Just like beginning anything new, leaving our comfort zone was rough for us. Imagine exchanging our crispy pata (pork knuckles) with unlimited rice and Coke to Nutrilite BodyKey meal replacement or our cake and coffee to banana and watermelon, and our chips to apple and turnips.

But slowly, bit by bit, we embraced the change. We kept in mind that change is messy in the middle but magnificent in the end. So we stayed the course, with the end goal in mind. Being foodies that we are helped a lot, now we are in the know on the newest, hippest, and most amazing restaurants and food joints which offer uber

These are just a few frustrating experiences we had before starting on the weight management program. With the introduction of Nutrilite BodyKey program, we realize that our goal of a holistic wellness and healthy lifestyle is possible. We asked and talked to ourselves as if a friend giving an advice to a fellow friend. Our decision to be part of this wellness program became even more satisfying when we learn that we can be part of a team sharing the same dilemmas. Our team became determined to end all weight disappointments and help each other succeed for a healthier lifestyle.

So instead of just the usual home exercises, gym routines, and running in the park, we injected it with enthusiasm and creativity. The shopping mall became our haven as we walked till we dropped during window shopping trips, on the lookout for new clothes and sets of outfits that will suit us well once we reach our target weight. We also vowed to use the stairs instead of elevators and escalators, for extra challenge. Ooooh! Not to forget how many calories we have burned just by stalking a celebrity crush (more than 10,000 steps you bet!).

As the struggles die down little by little and as our bodies voices get louder as they say thank you for choosing to be healthy, all the more that we encouraged and supported each other. Our Viber group was tremendous in aiding each of us to stay focused. Daily messages of motivation pushed us to keep going. We know that our commitment is not just confined within the 60 days challenge, but rather a long-term commitment to good health. As a team, we are steadfast to doing small daily decisions and disciplines, fully aware and hopeful that this will bring us home to where we want to be that is to unlock and unleash the Fit, Fab, Fun, and Fantastic 4 that we all are.

Some of us believe that brushing daily is enough to combat oral bacteria growth and maintain good hygiene; but theres more to oral health than simply just brushing daily. It takes diligence, care and the right products to improve your oral health care. Without the combination of these three aspects, you may come to face some oral dilemmas in the near future.

ORAL PROBLEMS Research suggests that some of the sugary food items we eat can actually cause bacteria to cling to the teeth. These bacteria can create various oral problems to your mouth. The first of which, is tooth decay.

Tooth decay is the most common of all the oral problems we face. This is caused by plaque build-up near the gum line. In turn, this plaque build-up accumulates and corrodes the tooth causing it to break and decay. Another oral problem you can possibly face, with the improper oral practices, is Gingivitis. Gingivitis refers to the mild inflammation of the gums, which causes puffiness, redness and in some cases, bleeding. This is the earliest stage of gum disease.

Maintain Good Oral Hygiene with Glister

Finally, if you continuosly neglect good oral health, you can even get Periodontitis. This is an advanced form of gum disease that will not only cause tooth loss, but will also contribute to other health problems, like Cardiovascular diseases and Bacterial Pneumonia.

So, imagine going about your day faced with all these problems its not a pretty picture.

Luckily, theres a solution for all these oral dilemmas, and thats the Glister line of products.

    PREVENTION WITH GLISTER

Amways brand of oral health care, Glister, offers a good range of products for you to keep your teeth clean and your gums healthy, so you can avoid facing these oral problems.

Not only that, the Glister products were designed to not only clean the teeth, but also to prevent bacteria build-up in the mouth, hence preventing tooth decay, Gingivitis and Periodontitis.

For instance, the Glister Multi-Action Fluoride Toothpaste contains ingredients like Flouride, which strengthen the tooths enamel to prevent cavities and tooth corrosion. While with the Glister Concentrated Anti-Plaque Mouthwash, you can remove any remnants of plaque on the gum line, before it even hardens. Use these two products with the Glister Mouth Refresher Spray and the Glister Advanced Toothbrush, you wouldnt need to worry about any of these oral problems.

So from here on, lets keep our mouths clean and free from bacteria build-up by practicing good oral hygiene regimen, with the help of Glister.

Glister is exclusively distributed by Amway Philippines.

In 2003, Amway Leaders made a commitment to help children. And for the last twelve years we have been doing just that around the world, anywhere we do business.

It is called Amway One by One Campaign for Children.

What started as a corporate campaign has now become a movement. From the highest level distributor to the entry level employee, Amway people everywhere have made this global initiative their own.

Although the impact is great, the strategy is simple. People around the world identify the most important local issues, then pour out their hearts to respond: one person, one child at a time.

In the Philippines, Amway One by One Campaign has partnered with the Depart-ment of Education (DepEd) under the Adopt- A- School Program (ASP) with its literacy through storytelling campaign. This saw the completion of six library projects from 2005 to 2014.

Direct selling is currently not permitted in China. Since 1998 Amway China has operated under a special license permitting sales through shops with salesmen.

ABOs / distributors are encouraged to contact Amway to ensure that they have up to date information on the procedures for international sponsoring. Additionally, ABOs / distributors should become aware of and uphold the laws and regulations of each market, as well as understand and be considerate of social and cultural customs.

NOTICE: AMWAY HAS ADOPTED A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY THAT PROHIBITS ANY ABO / DISTRIBUTOR ACTIVITY IN MARKETS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN OFFICIALLY OPENED BY AMWAY. Amway defines ABO / distributor activity as any activity which is designed to promote or build the Amway business. All ABOs / distributors are prohibited from visiting a new market country for the purpose of interesting one or more prospective ABOs / distributors in the Amway business. Amway does not permit holding meetings (even one-on-one meetings) in any country prior to the announcement of the launch date and launch plans.

Prospecting by web sites directed at the unopened market is also considered as in appropriate ABO / distributor activity.

It is highly inappropriate and a violation of the spirit of these rules to educate a non-distributor about the Amway Opportunity and to then encourage the prospective ABO / distributor to return to his native country for the purpose of generating interest prematurely.

In the event that Amway officially launches a new market, Amway will announce the opening of the market through official corporate communications. Such communications will announce the date of launch, indicate what pre-launch activity is

permitted, and provide other information critical for successful distributor participation. If Amway has not officially opened a market, no ABO / distributor activity is authorized with respect to that market.

Any mention in the media of Amways public relations efforts or of legal notices that Amway is required to file in a new

market must not be interpreted as the official announcement of Amways intention to open a new market.

ACTIVITIES NOT AUTHORIZED AT ANY TIME

Amway has adopted a Zero Tolerance Policy for unauthorized activity in unopened markets. Below is a list of behavior/activity that would be subject to the Zero Tolerance Policy no matter whether such activity takes place in an unopened market or in a market that has been officially launched by Amway. The Corporation reserves the right to take immediate action and or deny acceptance of an Application in the new market or apply other sanctions on any ABO once it receives a verifiable complaint.

to sign under or to provide prospects in a new market. To do so is a direct violation of the contract between Amway and its ABOs / distributors and the Rules of Conduct or Commercial Principles applicable in an ABO / distributors market. Amway encourages ABOs / distributors to follow their original line of sponsorship when applying for authorization in a new market.

The importation, use, or sale of any privately produced literature, tapes or other such Business Support Materials (including the use of web sites, e-mail and other electronic means of advertisement or communication) in relation to the Amway business not previously reviewed by Amway for use in a/each specific market is unauthorized. Authorization in one market does not automatically serve as authorization for use in ALL and especially new or unopened markets.

    3. The importation of any Amway product into a market for any reason including sales, demonstration, or display strictly prohibited. Importation of products and promotional materials without proper import licenses, registrations, and labeling may subject the violating ABO / distributor and Amway to substantial fines, imprisonment, and confiscation of materials and product and undermines the reputation and goodwill associated with the Amway trademarks and brand. It may also seriously jeopardize Amways ability to open a market in the future, or to offer its full range of products.

    4. Advertising for prospective ABOs / distributors in the new market in any format is prohibited both in the new market and in the distributors home market. This includes flyers, bulletin boards, misuse of business cards, publication of meeting schedules, and seeking media coverage. ACCEPTANCE/PROCESSING OF AN APPLICATION IN THE NEW MARKET, AND/OR SUSPENSION TO TERMINATION OF THE VIOLATORS BUSINESS. CORRECTIVE ACTION MAY NEGATIVELY IMPACT THE VIOLATORS ANNUAL BONUSES, AWARD RECOGNITION AND OTHER REWARDS SUCH AS GIP, NON-CASH AWARDS AND FAA MONIES.

    1. Complaints of improper activity are to be submitted in writing to the appropriate Sales/Business Relations Department staff for review and handling on a case-by-case basis. Amway may, at its discretion, follow up on any reported activity to make a determination of its accuracy and viability.

    2. Penalties may include any action deemed appropriate by Amway up to and including denying an application for the new market, suspension or termination. Amway may sanction rewards and recognition derived unauthorized activities in an unopened market and may prohibit the offending ABOs / distributors from entering into new markets.

    3. In the event of termination action, the appeal rights as granted by the Enforcement Procedures in the Rules of Conduct, Commercial Principles or applicable policies in an Amway affiliate may be invoked by the ABO / distributor.

    4. Direct (Platinum) ABOs / distributors are responsible for ensuring that all ABOs / distributors in their organizations who are involved in international markets understand these Rules. It is the responsibility of each ABO / distributor to abide by this Policy.
