BIOGRAPHY UNITED STATES AIR FORCE STAFF SERGEANT ALAN W. WITT Staff Sergeant Witt was an Individual Mobilization Augmentee as a Paralegal Journeyman, 55th Wing, Offutt AFB, Nebraksa. In this position he was responsible for processing claims, military justice actions, and assisting customers in the Legal Assistance Program. He developed himself as an Airman, learning the necessary skills to become a productive paralegal through his Career Development Course, obtaining his 5 skill level, and involving himself in activities/volunteering on Offutt Air Force Base and in the local community. SSgt Witt provided legal services to six groups, 32 Squadrons, 50 organizations (to include US STRATCOM and the Air Force Weather Agency), and over 10,200 total force airmen, as well as 31,700 retired and family member, and provided advice in support of missions worldwide. SSgt Witt enlisted in the Air Force in 2008 as a Fuels Operator. He retrained into the paralegal career field in June 2012. He separated after fulfilling his 6 years of service honorably in August 2014. SSgt Witt is married to the former Rebecca Olson.
