Photoluminescent marking of escape routes according to the Workplace Directive ASR 1.3 and optical safety guidance systems in accordance with ASR A3.4/3, IMO-labels as well as pipeline tape for the navy including assembly on site.

Witte plusguide GmbH – Vehicle Saftety – is one of Germany’s leading manufacturers of high quality vehicle-safety-products.

We produce conspicuity markings and warning plates for commercial vehicles as well as numerous special products based on current regulations and laws. In close cooperation with the law-giving authorities we combine the statutory compliance of our products with their high quality.

Witte plusguide® - printed technology

Witte safemark GmbH - High Security Printing - means decades of market presence, competence and specialization in the develop-ment and production of printing products which are relevant to security.

A special focus is the processing and modification of high-quality, self-adhesive film products for high technical demands, particularly for the automotive, electrical, chemical and pharmaceutical industry and for telecommunication and banking applications.

Our labels and nameplates include visible and/or invisible security features which make them forgery-proof such as UV pigments, VOID effects, holograms, thermochromic colours, colourshift-effects, RFID inlays, serial numeration, bar codes and QR codes.

In order to detect and store data (Track & Trace) we can also produce your labels with RFID and NFC technology or Datamatrix Codes.

All security applications are manufactured in our video-monitored printing plant which is certified regularly. Finished products are stored under the highest security precautions until final delivery to the customer.

Adhesive document sealsOur adhesive document seals are produced with a special production process developed by us. This ensures that the seals can no longer be forged. Our goal is to designate identifications, documents, customs documents etc. as genuine and protect them from misuse.

VignettesThe special seal technology of our vignettes makes manipulation impossible. If a manipulation attempt is made by removing the vignettes, either the safety colours (applied with special printing technology) or the entire basic material tears.

Safety labels / Closure seals / Product and brand protectionOur safemark® safety labels identify original products and separate counterfeit goods with a unique combination of security features. Additionally they can protect packagings and housings from unintentional opening because the closure seal is irreversibly destroyed during this process.

PIN and PUK labelsWe offer our PIN/PUK security labels as scratch-off, peel-off and high-security VOID labels. Also a combination of all these versions is possible.

DSD Staatliche Dokumente GmbH - Government Documents Printer - as a value printing company is certified manufacturer and partner in development, production and sale of governmental documents with high-quality security characteristics.

In order to be able to develop our current products, we are in constant contact with the German federal and state ministries, the Federal and State Office of Criminal Investigation. Our documents correspond to current case law in the individual states and Federal or EU law.

Our products also include service identifications, seals, labels relevant to security and individual forms for all areas in town halls and for the administration of district administrator offices, cities and communities and other authorities or organisations.

Foundation of Friedrich Witte GmbH in Solingen by daughter and son-in-law Marga and Andreas Schmitz-Heinen. Trade in and production of grinding agents and occupational safety products, later adhesive tapes and self-adhesive foils.

Under the brand name plusprint®, Gerecke + Lauer GmbH begins production and sale of self-adhesive films produced using the screen printing process in the area of outdoor advertising and product labelling.

Friedrich Witte GmbH begins production on printed adhesive tapes as well as nameplates and performance plates made of high-quality foils.

Initial certification of Gerecke + Lauer GmbH according to ISO 9001.

Acquisition of the subsidiary Plusprint Druckmedien GmbH of Gerecke + Lauer GmbH through the partners of Friedrich Witte GmbH and the Vehicle Safety Product division, which changes its name to Witte plusguide GmbH. The headquarters of this company are located in Münster.

Merger of Friedrich Witte GmbH with Plusprint Druckmedien GmbH to Witte plusprint Druckmedien GmbH with headquarters in Solingen, where the central administration and a production facility are located. Münster becomes the second production location.

Splitting of the safemark® division, previously managed as a profit centre, which had worked for decades in the production of print products relevant to safety to become safemark GmbH. This step was to take into account the meaning and the special requirements for this business segment. The headquarters of the company are located in Münster.
